Take me back home
I’m used to working with multiple stakeholders of various levels from in and outside the organisation and communicating effectively with them. Compelling others and negotiating are a big part of the job as fashiondesigner. Creating concepts and designing collections while supporting other team members and never loosing sight of what would help the team succeed is vital. As are willing to compromise and being open to constructive feedback.
Next to Fashion and UX design I also love everything related to storytelling and being creative.
I sketch, paint, draw, and write. I can totally loose myself making illustrations in Procreate or painting with acrylic or water color. I love to design logo’s and am a true font enthusiast.
And, at the moment, I’m diving deeper into website and motion design.
What I love about menswear is that it requires a high level of attention for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
I help build brands and grow businesses. During my last job as Head of Design I was responsible for 3 brands so I’m used to juggle between different projects and varied tasks.
While I really enjoy being creative i also like to be involved in the company's business strategy.
Transformation is not a project
- it's a mindset.
I love to tell a good story!
It's all about them details..
Creative AND logical approach
Collaboration and communication are key
A mix of technology, psychology and design..
This is what fascinates me most about UX design. You’re solving a real problem. You create something that people actually use and love and which makes them confident in their day-to-day life.
Empathising with the user or your customer, understanding their problem, and anticipating their needs - while also aspiring to create a beautiful product in the end. That's what UX design and fashion have in common and that's super interesting to me!
Solving problems with empathy
